Minutes of the OFCA Board Meeting, January 14, 2008

Treasurer's Report (Kathy Krzystan):

 The year end analysis report was distributed.

 Edgar moved that we received a report of the budget as of December 31.

Capital Projects (Eddie Hubbard) :

 Disputing electric bill for work done at the pool.

Director Reports:

Police and Safety (Jerry Tuccille):

 Police have reported a Severna Park resident is wanted for breaking and entering.

 Breaking and entering continues to be a problem. Residents can call 410-222-8610 for non-emergency police calls.

Streets and Lights (Dick Bloomquist):

 The burned out light in front of the Smiths' house has been fixed.

 The county traffic sign department has been notified of the misspelled “Sheburn” street sign.

 Contacted the county regarding the community clean up dates.

Pool (Erik Anderson):

 Erik indicated that he will seek professional advice regarding white coding.

 Erik indicated that he plans to meet with DRD personnel in the future.

Waterfront (Steve Patrick):

 There is no electricity at the water front. Steve will get in contact with Kevin regarding payment to ().

Social:

 We still do not have a new Social Director.

Community Services: (Wally Campbell):

 Volunteers are in place to distribute the Oakleaf.

Grounds Report (Liz Cingel):

Requested a bid from US Turf Care.

Looking for new contractor for leaf removal.

Thanks to Bert & Wally Campbell for taking down the community holiday decorations.

Garden Club (Marie Tuccille):

Luncheon will be January 25, at noon at Café Mezzannoti.

Other Reports:

Newcomer Greeter (Linda Haller):

There are two new renters in the community.

Old Business:

The () house on Karp Court is in foreclosure. () has contacted the ()’s attorney regarding the dues owed.

The next meeting will be on Monday, February 11, 2007, at 7:00 at the home of Connie and Jay Nealle.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 PM.
