Minutes of the OFCA Board Meeting, April 9, 2007
at the Cornacchia's house, from 7:00 pm - 8:40 pm
Present: Liz Cingel, Edgar Schick, Kelly Cornacchia, Frank Cingel, Linda Haller, Marie Tuccille, Jerry Tuccille, Kevin Gregg, Dick Bloomquist, Bill Goodman
Since no corrections or additions were heard, the minutes of the March 12, 2007 board of directors meeting stood approved.
() presented plans for a fence and shed. The plans were approved without objection.

() presented plans to convert a deck into a screened porch. The plans were approved without objection.
() presented a plan to install a permanent standby generator. The plan was approved without objection.
Bill Goodman presented a plan for a screened porch. The plan was approved without objection.
Treasurer's Report (Kevin Gregg):
· Kevin distributed the Profit and Loss statement for the period of 1/1/07-4/7/07. Edgar Schick moved to approve the statement. The motion was seconded and it was approved without dissent.
Capital Projects:
· Frank presented for discussion a pro forma budget requested by BB&T for the period of 2007-2011.
Director Reports:
Safety, Police, and Fire (Jerry Tuccille):
· The juvenile offender from Westridge involved in some area burglaries is now an adult, out on bail, and living in Glen Burnie.
Social (Bill Goodman):
· The Easter Egg Hunt was a success.
· Bill will put an item in the Oakleaf soliciting help for future events.
Grounds (Liz Cingel):
·Mulching and cutting back of ornamental grasses at the pool began today.
· Liz has had no response to her pleas for help in the Oakleaf. () volunteered to help and it was suggested that Liz ask for a list of names of people that can be called upon for help rather than actually form a committee.
Garden Club (Marie Tuccille):
· The Garden Club is planning their May luncheon and information will be in the Oakleaf.
Streets and Lights (Dick Bloomquist):
· The county will provide dumpsters at the pool for the community's use 7/21-7/22. These dates do not conflict with any swim meets.
· The streetlight at 105 Quinn is only working sporadically.
Newcomers (Linda Haller):
· Linda has met with two of the new Karp Court residents. There are approximately 11 Oakleigh Forest Cookbooks left.
Old Business
· The Board agreed that the OFCA directories should be distributed in the Spring if possible.
The next meeting will be on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 7:00 at the home of Bill and Linda Goodman.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 PM.
