Minutes of the OFCA Board Meeting, December 10, 2007
at the Schick's house, from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Present: Liz Cingel ,Kelly Cornacchia, Frank Cingel, Bill Goodman, Amy Greif, Jay Neale, Anne Strom, Steve Patrick, Kevin Gregg, Kathy Krzystan, Edgar Schick, Steve Wood, Marie Tuccille, Jerry Tuccille
Since no corrections or additions were heard, the minutes of the November 12, 2007 board of directors meeting stood approved.
Treasurer's Report (Kevin Gregg):
· All totaled, Phase 1 of the capital improvement project at the pool cost approximately $118,000.
Jay Neale and () have volunteered to audit the treasurer's books.·
Kevin will give Jay the materials he needs to perform the audit.
· Edgar moved to approve the report. The motion was seconded and approved without dissent.
Capital Projects :
· OFCA has borrowed $40,000 to date.
Director Reports:
Police and Safety (Jerry Tuccille):
· Police have reported a purse snatcher in the area from Arnold to Pasadena.
· Breaking and entering continues to be a problem. The local police are hooked into a national pawn shop database to help retrieve stolen items. Residents can call 410-222-8610 for non-emergency police calls.
Streets and Lights (Frank Cingel for Dick Bloomquist):
· Frank will ask Dick to follow up on the misspelled "Sheburn" street sign and the burned out light in front of the Smiths' house.
Pool (Steve Wood):
· Steve will transfer all pool information to Erik Anderson.
Waterfront (Frank Cingel for Bob Burns):
· We still don't have a new boat ramp. Bob will issue an ultimatum to the contractor.
Social (Bill Goodman):
· We still do not have a new Social Director. Bill has provided a list of all the neighborhood events to Frank. They will be tackled on an event by event basis until a new Social Director is found.
Garden Club (Marie Tuccille):
· The Christmas greenery making party was a success.
Old Business:
· The () house on Karp Court is in foreclosure. We will need to contact Randy Goff, who has been reinstated to the bar, in order to determine how we can go about getting our money.
The next meeting will be on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 7:00 at the home of Jerry and Marie Tuccille.
Amy Greif moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded and approved without dissent. The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
